Getting closer to San Francisco

I haven't stopped bouncing yet. I'm still over the moon about going to National Conference this year in San Francisco (SFO).

It really didn't seem real until I got my Speaker Information packet in the mail. Right there in black and white, hard paper copy, I was a speaker at the conference. It was real all right...!

I've signed up for the conference and paid my fee. Four other members of my local chapter are also going, so the five of us have been booking our hotel and flight. We've been looking into the subway system to get around SFO. We are researching tours to take.

We've all decided to fly in Monday before the conference begins. That will give the others two full days of sight-seeing before the conference starts. The president of the chapter and I will be attending the leadership seminar on Wednesday before the conference, so I have one less day.

I've been to SFO before, about 25 years ago. I look forward to seeing it again.
