Moving Right Along

My latest story is moving right along. Thanks to Mel and Rene! I needed a good kick to get started. This is such a great story. I'm excited. The characters are real, but I have no clue about their love story.... So I just made it up.

On another note, for my research, I have been collecting pictures and I made these book covers out of pictures of the house.

Aren't they a riot! LOL

I am hoping I will find a picutre of my hero, Lord Grey. So far, no luck. There might exist one in a private collection, but ... who knows? The house on the cover, that was owned by Grey, is now a hotel. I even e-mailed the hotel asking if they knew if they had a portrait in the collection in the house. See the portrait over the mantel on the left? Maybe they had one? But no. Get this, they had not catalogued the paintings in the house. I'm not sure if I believe that. The portraits in th hotel are probably museum quality. I would think the hotel would be sure to catalogue them.

Sigh.... I think I got the brush off. I bet the person who answered my e-mail was a flunky.

Even without a picture, I can still write.

To the end

My next story (see below) has given me such inspiration, it's amazing. I've plotted out other stories before but never felt such excitement as I have with this one. It's great! I am so ready to write. I have been doing research, writing out character bits, plot charts, etc. The creative juices are just flowing. I am soooo ready to write this next story!

Just one teensy problem. I promised myself I would finish my other historical first.

Darn...

Should I? I should, shouldn't I? I should finish one story before starting another. The funny thing about my other story is that it's all plotted. I know exactly what's going to happen in the next three chapters until the end. That's how close I am.

I'm not bored with my first historical. On the contrary, I think it's pretty good and I'm not sick of the characters yet. But I'm just not excited anymore.

So . . . If I finish my first historical, then as a reward, I can write this next one? (No title yet, just Lord Grey)

Maybe. . . and maybe not. Rene seems to write three stories at once. Can I write two?
